We Provide:

Professional Development
Success for All is not another box of books. With at least 16 professional development days in the first year alone, Success for All teachers, facilitators and leaders receive intensive support to make certain implementation of the Success for All programme is successful.

Curriculum
Children through to Year Six learn to read and write by using a research-based literacy curriculum, coupled with appropriate co-operative learning strategies.

Nursery and Reception are served by an all day programme that meets the requirements of the Curriculum guidance for the foundation stage.

8 Week Assessments
This process provides an internal progress check quarterly for every child. Assessment data is used to design appropriate interventions, guide instruction and move pupils into higher reading levels ensuring that no child is left behind.

One-to-One or Small Group Tutoring
In SFA Literacy, one-to-one or small group tutoring is provided for struggling children, especially those in years one and two. One of the most effective educational interventions, tutoring is designed to parallel and reinforce classroom literacy teaching for these children.

Classroom Management
Teachers indicate that few discipline problems or occur during the SFA literacy block. Pupils are taught social problem solving skills at the beginning of the year and teachers receive ongoing training in proven classroom management practices.

Prevention and Intervention
Every school establishes a Family Support Team that links pupils, families, educators and community resources together. Their combined forces and relentless focus support children's academic achievement.

Facilitator
A facilitator is designated by the head teacher to help the school staff implement the programme. Working with SFA consultants, the facilitator organises all staff development, monitors data from each 8 week assessment and provides support and coaching to all teachers.
